AN EXCELLENT BIOGRAPHY OF THIS FAMILY IS INCLUDED IN THE MORE RECENT HISTORY OF FOUNTAIN COUNTY, IND. (ABT 20YRS OLD) -
Harry Lambert Linn was born 25 Feb 1913 at Attica, Ind. He was the son of John and Bertha (Millburg) Linn. Harry was a 1931 Attica High School graduate, received a bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and master's degree from Indiana University. His memberships included Attica First Lutheran Church, Veedersburg Masonic Lodge 491, Scottich Rite and Murat Shrine, Indianapolis, Fern Chapter 194 Order of Eastern Star, Hillsboro, Fountain-Warren County Historical Society, Hillsboro Heritage Club and Charles Forest American Legion 288, Veedersburg. He attended United Methodist Church and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He was a teacher in Ladoga, Seeger, Hillsboro and Fountain Central High Schools and Indiana State University. He served on the Southeast Fountain School Board 1976-84.1
Harry Linn married Wreatha Mellott at Attica, Indiana. Wreatha is the daughter of Guy and Elda (Campbell) Mellott. On 7 June 1999 Harry passed away in Montgomery Co., Indiana.
